Exactly one week after their prewedding photoshoot in Bolsena, Marco and Valentina got married in the small village of Porano, in Umbria.
It was an emotional and joyous ceremony at the same time, officiated by the Mayor himself, in the lovely Council Chamber of the Town Hall.
Porano is a small village in Umbria and, as it always happens, everyone knows everyone so there were many locals along the streets and outside the Town Hall, waiting to see the bride and groom, just to be to show them their affection as it is customary in small towns in Italy. A young married couple is always a good reason to rejoice.
Perhaps it is precisely the welcoing warmth that comes from the people that captures many foreign couples and makes them choose Italy as a destination for their wedding.
A beautiful bride in an elegant minimal bridal gown and a crown of flowers that echoed the flowers in the bouquet, and the same flowers for the boutonniere of the groom, who wore a classic green suit. A young and beautiful couple, who would have looked perfect on the cover of a bridal fashion magazine.
For the couple's photoshoot after the ceremony, we moved first to the gardens of the nearby Castel Rubello, to enjoy the sunlight filtering through the trees at sunset and then to the gardens of the Albornoz Fortress in Orvieto, a historic place from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding valley.
The last photo of the day? A smile reflected in the side view mirror, inspired by a famous shot..
May such an inspired ending of a wedding day be just the beginning of a fantastic new life together!
