The Historical Cortege and The Palio (a cart race)
The New Guidebook on Orvieto
A traditional event taking place in the small town of Monteleone di Orvieto in August: the Marsciano and the Montemarte families parade in the town centre and challenge one another in a fierce wheeled-cart race.
I had the pleasure and the honour to contribute this year to the new guidebook on Orvieto with a series of photographs shot in recent years The new guide has been written by Marco Sciarra and published by Intermedia Edizioni by Claudio Lattanzi

The Corrado Spatola Basketball Tournament
The noble rival families of Monaldeschi and Filippeschi declare a truce and attend the crossbowmen's competition and the flagthrowers' show in the afternoon of Pentecost Sunday.
Orvieto's four districts compete in the annual round robin basketball tournament. Four days of friendship and sportmanship.

This is me - The Musical
This is the most important event in my hometown and takes place every year. 400 and more participants, wearing Medieval costumes, parade along the streets of Orvieto, a reenactment of the events that lead to the institution of the solemnity of Corpus Christi.
An amazing production of the Musical "This is me", inspired by The Greatest Showman, set in the beautiful Mancinelli Theatre in Orvieto
