I met Tashia and Steve for their pre-wedding photoshoot by the Spanish Steps in Rome at 2:30 pm on a bright September afternoon.
**
You might think this would hardly be the best time of the day to shoot photos as, in fact, I usually suggest to prospective spouses we should meet in the early morning or at sunset to catch the best light for their pre-wedding photoshoots.
**
Unfortunately their appointment at the American Embassy that day had been moved forward, therefore we had no choice but to meet at that time, but it definitely worked out well.
**
In fact, the bright blue sky and the white marbles of the Roman sights proved to be an incredibly luminous setting for our pictures, and the vibrant colours we obtained added even more strength to the powerful bond existing between Tashia and Steve, about to get married the following day.

Well, I happen to like vibrant and true-to-life colours. I imagine my couples looking at their wedding photos in five/ten years’ time and remembering what the sky really looked like on their wedding day…
