Let me tell you something about me, from Orvieto, to London, UK and back.

Hi there, welcome to my website!

My name is Maria Giulia, I am an Italian photographer living in a beautiful town in Italy named Orvieto, located amidst the lovely hills of Umbria, half-way between Rome and Florence.

Even though I was born in Orvieto, I haven't always lived here. I spent my teenage years in a little town north of Venice and moved to London, UK, just after high school, and that's where I spent four and a half memorable years of my life.

Living and working in such a bustling city on my own for such a long time and meeting great people from all over the world truly broadened my horizons and made me realize that every dream can come true with the right motivation, with commitment, determination and true passion!

I have been taking photos since I was a little girl, when I received my first camera as a present for my First Communion, from then I started taking photos of anything around me, be it people, pets, still life, events, thereby becoming a street photographer at eight years of age!

Then I went on proper photography and retouching courses, as well as masterclasses on portraits, studio lights, fashion photography and wedding photography so that I was able to go into business on my own some time ago.

My specializations in portrait and wedding photography are a natural consequence of my genuine interest in people, and my desire to show the beauty that comes from within each person, with the help of my camera.

Be it in my studio, outdoor, or anywhere really, a PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION is a revealing mission for me as much as it is for my customers.

Also, to be chosen by a couple as a witness of their WEDDING DAY and to think that I will produce tangible memories of that special occasion, that will be viewed for years to come, makes me believe that being a WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER is, indeed, a challenging job, but, most of all, an absolute privilege.

I get totally hypnotized by the love I see in the eyes of two souls who are about to get married. I feel privileged to be a witness of such romantic moments which I capture with my camera.

Just think of it, when you choose me as your wedding photographer you are not just making a booking, you are entrusting me with your future: your food will be eaten, your guests will go back home, your flowers will dry, your dress will be put back in your wardrobe. However, everything from your momentous day will stay in your memory for as long as you wish, because your wedding photos will last forever.
