HOT, HOTTER, THE HOTTEST..
It's here. We hoped for it, we prayed for it, we begged for it. Now Summer has finally arrived..
This is just the right temperature for this time of the year at long last!
Of course, all weddings celebrated outside require good weather, therefore all couples who have chosen this time of the year to get married will finally be happy, including those couples from abroad who have chosen my Country for their destination weddings because of Italy's landscape, history, art, food and, of course, climate.
Of course I, as a destination wedding photographer in Italy, am so so happy to be able to shoot my pictures with natural light, without the need for umbrellas and without the need to rush inside when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Now that the mercury has finally risen as high 30 degrees Celsius and July is literally round the corner, I cannot not think of that fantastic wedding of the 2022 season in Umbria, which I, as a destination wedding photographer, had the pleasure to photograph.
Believe me, the hottest wedding of the 2022 season was not the Bennifers'. It was the wedding of Silvia Romana and Andrea, which took place in the Cathedral of Città della Pieve first, (province of Perugia) and went on in the exclusive resort of the Borghi dell'Eremo.
The mercury rose as high 40 degrees Celsius for that 5pm wedding, and it got boiling hot during the getting ready phase, however the energy released by spouses and guests were great and vibes were high!
What a fantastic reception that was, with dancing and karaoke going on for hours after the cutting of the cake..
This is the kind of energy that should always be at the foundation of a marriage, to make it ready for things to come, (regardless of the weather, of course, after all I must have told you my own marriage started with hail hitting my bedroom window blinds.. and I am still married to the same man.. 25 years later ).
So, July is about to start and I have more lovely couples to take photos of…I can't wait :)
